  • Leadership of the Market Intelligence team
  • Responsible for integrating and analysing information from a variety of sources including market research, market and competitor intelligence, company report and accounts, industry analyst reports, trade associations and from networking with members
  • Production of top-quality strategic analysis in the form of the Global Postal Industry Report, Statistical Database, Carrier Intelligence Reports, Global Monitor and Account Plans
  • Provide analysis and interpretation of data for IPC's members, other postal operators, and their key competitors
  • Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present findings to senior management


  • Experience
    • At least three years’ experience of strategic planning, market, and competitor analysis in the mail, express or logistics industries
  • Qualifications
    • University graduate, preferably with a post-graduate qualification and degree in business, finance, or economics
  • Skills
    • Highly numerate, strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills required with experience of data mining and statistical techniques. Able to extract, substantiate or challenge key facts and figures from annual reports and accounts and other sources
    • Results orientated, pro-active, team player, able to work and actively contribute to a team environment.
    • As English is the working language of IPC, a high standard of both spoken and written English is required
